Bio

I lead the BSc Cyber Security & Forensics programme, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on cyber security education. I teach across cyber security and penetration testing, while developing realistic lab environments where students can explore attacks, vulnerabilities and defensive techniques in practice. My teaching is closely connected to my research in cyber security, trust and integrity, and I bring that work into the curriculum through purpose-built cyber ranges, vulnerable systems and practical experimentation.

I am a member of the UK Cyber Security Council's Ethics Committee, ensuring ethical standards in the profession. The UK Cyber Security Council is the self-regulatory body for the UK cyber security profession, tasked by the UK Government with the development of a framework aligning qualifications, certifications, and career pathways.
